Does anyone have an opinion on the Wacom intuos 5 tablet? I’m making a birthday/treat myself list. I’ve read all of the reviews on amazon and from various review sources, but I want to get some advice from graphic designers/students.
Design Seeds is a bizarre yet awesome tool, if you’re feeling stumped for color palette inspiration. This internship is slowly but surely breaking my pinterest resentment.

My design internship starts tomorrow morning at 8.
I’m so nervous. I don’t feel ready to enter the world of advertising at all. I’ve had stress headaches for the past three days.
I’m definitely stealing a power dress from my older sister’s closet. And on second thought, wish her some luck too, because she starts work at the Louis Vuitton offices in New York on Monday, and she won’t admit it but I’m sure she’s more than a little nervous as well.

I can’t even express how sad you should be if you missed Aaron Draplin’s AIGA Design talk last night. In fact, if you are in South Carolina, you’d better get in your car at this very fucking moment and drive down to Charleston to see him speak at BlueIon.
Also, portfolio review went really well. I was offered an internship (well, a potential fall internship, since I’ll be in Charleston all summer) at one of the biggest Ad Agencies in South Carolina, and I got overwhelmingly positive feedback from all of the reviewers. The only minor criticisms were for the layout of my portfolio book and resumé, which was fully expected.
More useful free fonts for designers - this is a pack of social networking icon glyphs.
I’m really stocking up on the free fonts tonight. This is how you know that I am sick and procrastinating my school work.
Metropolis is one of the best free fonts that I’ve found recently (actually, Spencer found it and then tweeted it to me).
